Wetlands - Match Lake. Anyone got any tips?

HI,

Got a match on Wetlands match lake in a few weeks, anyone know how its fishing and whats the winning methods/baits are at the min? Any info would be greatly appreciated

I fished the open last monday and the winner came from the main lake fishing shallow on the long pole feeding pellet the back up weights were on the tip around the island peg 30 , 31 were fishing the bomb or very small feeders. I was on peg 33 and had 1 tench on the pole and that was it i started on the pellet feeder which was a mistake as i had only a 3/4 carp on it i swopped to the pellet cone (which i normally use in the winter) and had 40lb on it fishing right up to the island.

Hi Steve, did anyone do anything on the pva bags on the bomb?

Yes the regulars mostly use the t-bag and does ok especially the colder it gets.
