  • how to approach bream in a match situation

    no groundait, hemp allowed

but recently i used 3mm pellets with corn, fished laying 1ft on with 0.13 hooklength and 18 hook, 0.3g slim bodied float.

but problem was roach took over and could not get proper bites.

this line was to be a backup line for when my carp line needed resting or went quite, but it failed so i feel i spent to long on my margin swims wasting time that could have been used keeping my weight ticking over.

the pool is full of bream and carp so i felt feeding 3mm will pick out the silvers more then the carp but it seemed to pick out the roach wich i was not counting on

how would you approach this in a match situation
