how do u make your own gound bait ,ingrediants etc please

  • #2
Try mixing brown crumb, polenta, ground coriander, and pv1 binder that makes a good base mix, addition of crushed hemp, fish-meal ( you can leave out the binder ) along with any carp additives you fancy will give you a mix for carp, as daft as it sounds salt is also in most proprietary mixes, dessicated coconut will make your ground bait fizz. Its a bit of trial and error really but the following is a reasonable starting base.
In a kilo of crumb try adding 150gr binder, 100gr polenta 25-50 ground coriander.
Brown Crumb and fish-meal mixed 50/50 will stick to a Korum method feeder.
I am sure others will have their recipes as well, that will include things like crushed pellet, sugar, maize, vitalin, instant whip the list will be endless.
Making your own groun bait is a bit like making your own floats and gives great satisfaction when you have a bag of fish using it
