  • Maver Pairs at Barford Important Notice

    Posted for Sarah at Barford

Please note - due to the rising water levels in the river we will not be using the Match Lake at Barford tomorrow.

    Pair A will fish Railway
Pair B will fish either Willow Lake or Colton Lake (not the Match Lake).

You may choose whether you’ll be Pair A or B.

The draw is at Railway at 9am. There will be bacon roll van there.

The driveway at the Barford site is covered in water. Although it has lowered slightly it is raining now and rain is expected tomorrow. All the pegs are currently under water at Barford and I fear we may well get anglers in tomorrow but due to the rain expected in the afternoon tomorrow – we might not be able to get you out!

We have to make a decision now – I will be on the phone to contact those that I have the numbers for but if you know of anyone fishing the event please let them know of the venue change.

Maggots will be available at Railway and so too will pellet. If anyone has any further Tackle/bait requirements please call the office 01603 759624 from 7am and we will get it delivered to the lake.

Also don’t forget to avoid the Royal Norfolk Showground (off the A47). It’s the show day! If you miss the turning for the B1108 Watton Road then go past the Showground exit and come off at the next roundabout and head for Colton, then Barford.

I’ll post this on the Match forum and on the Angling Times one – could someone please put it up on the other forums – if you’d be so kind.

    Many thanks
