  • Who`s shot is the best?

Being a bit of a tart when it comes to the gear i use and i always want perfection im sick of the brands of microshot producing variations in their sizes.
Im currently using Preston but what brands do you use?
Please God...let me win the lottery:rolleyes:

yup i can fault stotz they don't damage the line and never come off unless you want them to some people find it hard but i just squeeze them with forceps and they snap in 2

if you can get hold of it, give ZLT shot a try . its marketed by mosella and its very soft . i've bin told its produced solely for the fishing market where as a lot of shot has other metals in it cos its produced by the shotgun industry . sounds good but dont know if true

ZLT by far or Garbolino which might actually be the same stuff. Anchor pole shot is too soft and won't stay where it's put, as is preston blue. Used to use sensas all the time but it is quite large in comparison and too hard. Colmic, Trabucco, and Sarfix I found too hard. Bought some stotz, tied one rig and then gave the stuff away.

Definitely going to go for the stotz after todays nightmare. Fished at Hill View and had shot pinging off all over the place.
