  • Weigh scales bouncing

Our matches are weighed in with tripod, dial scales, and weigh net, catches are from 5lbs to approx 40lbs two weighs one for silvers, one for carp, any suggestions on keeping the scales from bouncing with fish movement, as this is creating arguments with some of the guys regarding the final weight, as the scales man gets fed up waiting for the scales to settle, and will call the weight and say that will do, and as often happens, two or three ounces can make a big difference to pay outs.
What set up does your club use, and is it possible to rectify the problem,
Are digital scales better? any comments appreciated.

No scales are bounce resistant, digital at least put up a reading, we used to use digitals and if bounce was a problem, looked for the same weight to be displayed 3 times.
