hey i use 2lb preston power line for my mainline with 1lb preston power line for the hook length with number 9h hollo elastic. with a pulla bung incase i hook a bigger fish.

As a safe option I would go with 0.14 mainline to a 0.12 hooklength with a 6-8 elastic. Maybe a bit lighter for shallow.

Hi lad's need your help, new to match fishing so what size elastic, main line, hooklength, when fishing for above and do you fish bottom or up in the water, commie lake, depth 3' to 4', bait caster and maggot. Thanks for your time.
