Its Bloodworm time!

£16 a kilo isn't too bad TBH.

The joker has been generally pretty good for the last couple of years but some of the bloodworm hook packs have been dire.

Thankfully, for most of my fishing I use joker on the hook but on the Stainy at this time of year, decent bloodworm hookers are essential. If I wanted to scrape my own then Id just go down to the lake Si, because the Highfields end is rife with them in the silt.

Mind you, I had some pretty lifeless joker a few years back and 24hrs under the bubble saw them back to some sort of reasonable state.

We are paying £16 a kilo for joker round here at the moment - what do you guys get it for and have you had any quality problems with the weather still being warm?
