    We had a knock up on the glos canal today and my mate had a 15lb 10oz Zander,awesome fish.We put it back as it will hopefully eat all the hundreds of baby zs.Have got pic on my phone,need to work out how to get it onto pc,think i need to get a usb for it.This must be a record for a canal.

          It was my mate that had it ,Stu Palser. ,first chuck on a worm,didn't count in the match tho.

                        Nope it is not a canal record and are you certain the scales were accurate, I am not saying that they arent but in the picture it looks MUCH smaller. And I have seen a few big Zeds are there any better pics.
                        Still a lovely fish though.

                          The fish was weighed on Match scales.

                          Stuart is 6ft 4 tall.

                            Thanks for that, his height would make a big difference to the perspective on it.

                            I live 10 mins away from where it was caught and we are always hearing of massive Zander caught by match anglers.

                            Nice fish and well done.
