3 sections on Garridice

Thats the 5 sections. The match is a pairs match over 5 days.
Each section will be divided into 2 parts (A&B) and your pair will draw an order at the opening ceremony so for example you might draw E,A,B,D,C so you would do the following:
Monday: Leitrim
Tuesday: Cavan
Wednesday: Fermanagh 1
Thursday: Fermanagh 2
Friday: Monaghan
At the opening ceremony you will also nominate which of your anglers is angler A and which angler B - you always stay in this order ALL WEEK. So when you get to the section your pair is on you draw two pegs out so for example you might draw A3 and B24 ... the main section will be divided into two parts (A&B) and you then go to your respective pegs - this means although you are both in the same area you cannot draw next to each other. This has been decided as the way to run the match to make the traveling as little as possible for anglers in the same car and it is less likely people will get lost looking for sections.
There will be 2 open matches on the Saturday and Sunday proceeding the main event. If you wish to enter these matches you can ONLY ENTER AS A PAIR, also YOU MUST BOOK INTO THESE MATCHES BEFORE THE END OF AUGUST by phoning the Enniskillen tackle shop and prepaying your entry - NO ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED IF NOT PRE BOOKED in ADVANCE as we need to prepare for such a big match in advance, no excuses. The phone number for the shop in Enniskillen is 02866 322008
The competition will require you to dip your nets every day - there are some venues that require you to dip your nets (particularly in the South) so we have to make this a condition across the whole competition, again NO EXCUSES and competitors will be subject to disqualification if you do not observe this rule.
Along with the prizes for the pairs (£30,000 to the winners) there will be some other substantial prizes as well as individual prizes.
It is anticipated that there will be 150 pairs on this match (300 anglers) and the tickets are selling fast (as at the end of May there were over 110 pairs booked on) - so if you want to fish this match then you need to get in fast by printing off an entry form - http://www.talkangling.co.uk/world-pairs-entry.html
We have tried to make it that there are no long walks and these sections selected make that possible as well as offering some of the best fishing in Northern and Southern Ireland. With the match still 3 months away there has to be the caveat that some sections may be subject to change due to weather conditions. There are also some particularly good sections that have yet to be secured and will be added to the list as we get them booked so watch this space!
