    John Linfords Gowna Festival Starting,

    Monday 25th August - 29th August.
    Fishing Five Days On Weight 5th Day OPEN DRAW.

    Sunday 24th August Gowna Jimmy Sloane Open. Draw Fitzpatricks 9am.
    Sunday 30th August Open. Draw Fitzpatricks 9am.

    Spoke to Nigel today and after speaking with John they are going to cap entrys at 80 this year as to do there best to get people on fish and at present 61 are booked on so if you fancy your chances on this nice little festival get yourself booked on sharpish,good luck.

              Good to meet you and Peter Bram great stands you make and Oggi Robinson who won one for biggest catch is a lucky man,mind you Tony and PJ made a great job with the new legs,ha ha.

                  Biggest weight on Gowna Festival was 36kilo Dave Oggi Robinson peg 13 Tessa's.

                    Active Irish Angling report a final day 45-760 off Rosduff,unless I'm reading it wrong.Nice weight off Tessas,always some grub going in there with guest house.

                          Dropping as three weeks ago when I went over to help Nigel and John peg out the Gowna it was on the drop and now after the good weather alls well,it should be bang on for you so good luck,pole and whip seem to be way to go as at the moment on the King Of Clubs that's all anyone is setting up unless they are on the deep water on Kevins shore.

                            We only take tip rods over mate,just have a nice chilled week,usually have a knock up somewhere with NIgel unless he is grafting.
