    Results for Cob House Fisheries Saturday Open

    Weather Conditions :- Sunny, light breeze.... very pleasant!

    Number Fished :- 5

    Results:-

    Saturday 19 September 2009 Wyatts Pool

    With just 5 anglers on the open this Saturday, the carp in Wyatts thought they were safe…. then enter Team Mosella’s Chris Cameron. Using 4mm soft hooker pellets over loose fed pellet, Chris caught nearly 400 fish to break… er….. SMASH the pool and VENUE record with a whopping 254lbs, knocking Scott Poynton off the top spot! Neil McKinnon continued his run of ton-plus wights at Cob House with a fantastic 195lb for second place and two more ton plus bags followed with Darren Vincent bringing up the rear with a very respectable 82lb plus.

    1st Chris Cameron 254 - 10 Peg 11 NEW VENUE RECORD
    2nd Neil McKinnon 195 - 0 Peg 5
    3rd Andy Costin 119 – 0 Peg 2
    4th Alan Walters 109 - 12 Peg 8
    5th Darren Vincent 82 - 15 Peg 14

    All the pools are fishing their heads off guys....... come and have a go if you think your hard enuff. Lol! It's great to be putting faces to some of your usernames! Cheers to 20meterking, sionking and the others who had a chat today (sunday) after molesting me fish for 5 hours.

    Superb weights again, I was stuck on peg 1 on folly pool today on the Riddings...4 fish.. 2 micro roach a skimmer and an orfe, puts things into perspective..

    I fished wyatts recently, had 5 hours dead and ended up with 447 carp 2 skimmers 2 tench and a huge roach.....

        Cheers Shawn - you said you like silver fish fishing. If you fancy a pleasure day, get yerself on Listers End - there's some very big roach and rudd in there mate.

        Carlbags - how big was that roach in Wyatts mate? I only stocked a small number and they have only started showing in the last couple of weeks - two or three of them were around the 2lb mark when I put them in!

                    Nice one mate. Funny how they haven't showed until now. Mind you, I stocked 1000 roach in Laugherne and they have only just started showing too. Fish eh, who'd have 'em!!
