Weather Conditions :- Bright sunny spells, but cool breeze at times

    Number Fished :- 11

    Results:-

Saturday 17 October 2009 Wyatts Pool 11 anglers

Despite overnight low temperatures, the Carp in Wyatts were still in feeding mood as the sun dipped in and out of the clouds. A better turn-out this week and another top result for Mosella’s Chris Cameron with a fantastic 165 lb from peg 6 on pole fished soft pellet at 3 to 4 m. Maver’s Carl Jones came a close second, taking 157 lb using similar tactics. A ton plus weight too for Dave Boyer with 102 lb from peg 8 and just short of a ton for Tony Williams on 24. Some fish coming to sweetcorn too as pellet as the temperatures drop.

    1st Chris Cameron 165 - 6 Peg 14
    2nd Carl Jones 157 - 1 Peg 12
    3rd Dave Boyer 102 - 3 Peg 8
    4th Tony Williams 97 – 4 Peg 24

    Additional Info :-

Next saturday's open is on WYATTS again. Cooler conditions seem to have slowed the fish down a little, but still great weights for the time of year and still most fish coming close inside.

Wednesday open on Oak pool next week.
