  • SFCA - Federation cup

    Hello all.

The Scottish Federation of Coarse Anglers battled in the wind and rain today at Broom Fisheries, Annan, for the Federation Cup. The team that took the silver-wear was Monklands, with a bag of 20 lbs 15 ozs, and you can see from the photo below that are rather happy with the result. The winning team members were: Ewan Weed, Bryan Lynn, Stephen McAveney, and Davie McAuley.

The individual winner, Steph Hunter adopted a strategy of targeting roach with a Daiwa pole and it certainly paid off for him.

The Broom waters used for this competition were the Canal, The Square and the Donut.

    Individual prizes went to:

1st: Steph Hunter (Central) 12.0 lbs on peg 39
2nd: Simon Murray (Monklands) 8 lbs 4 ozs on peg 42
3rd: Colin Hart (Magiscroft) 7 lbs 15 ozs on peg 8

    Tight Lines
