The big tide brought some colour back into the river and the skimmers fed on some sections although the big bream were absent. I needed 3 ounces of lead on my feeder on the flood tide. The salt never made it up the river and it was a close match that could have gone either way but fortunately went mine Bob!
The results, only 33 fished as there were a few practising for next weeks final at Cross Drove.
1st Richard Watson (Me!!) Nisa Waveney 27lb 13oz Skimmers to 1 1/2lb for 20lb, 1 3lb bream and roach and eels
2nd Bob Bradford Unattached 26lb 13oz
3rd Nick Larkin Nisa Waveney
22lb 14oz 1 4lb bream and the rest big roach on the feeder
4th Mal Runacres Deben 21lb 6oz
Sections 20lb 9oz Mick Hanks Gt Yarmouth (5th)
18lb 4oz
20lb 7oz Micky Mirgaux Deben (6th)
19lb 13oz
17lb 0oz
Everyone had double figures in my section and it was a pretty tight match.
There is no change on the overall table with the top 3 places remaining, Nick Larkin has increased his overall weight, Robert Hubbard is on holiday so remains the same and I think John Taylor, Sensas Mark One is still third. Hopefully I have crept up a bit.
