Our second match of the season took us to Manor Farm Leisure in Evesham, a venue which can throw up some good weights and 14 of us were looking for our first fish of the season and because of that if you were to land one you'd take care in making sure it made its way into your keepnet, Milo however decided he didn't want his chunky F1 and returned it to the lake after he missed his net... D'oh
This left him pulling his hair out
until he got his next fish 40 minutes later. Gaverlarrr looking to add to his win on the canal got off to a good start but started to foul hook and lose a string of fish from his island flyer, F1 soup on peg 6 it was. Coxs62's casting left a lot to be desired but a steady run of fish graced his net throughout from lucky peg 13 as he looked to knock pantomine villian CovBaz out of the cup and although CovBaz conceded with a handshake after he still scraped through by a mere pound. Big Bob was moaning like a panalist on Loose Women about his seat box purchased off the absent Ghostie32 but it didn't stop him slapping his feeder all over his swim for a steady 16lbish. Covblaze struggled on unfancied open water peg 11 for half the match until the old faithful paste came out and then fish upto 6lb found their way to the net before it went quiet with 15 minutes to go when a shallow approach brought 3 fish around the 5lb mark each to pip Gaverlarrr for the win. A quick well done to Mandy the Margin Hunter for her string of late fish including the Guv'nor who eluded her this time and Drynet-Porky who bettered his catch from last year by 11lb 8oz, the coachings starting to pay off mate
.
Next up bait supplied at 5ways, lets all have a good moan at Covbaz with his 17 tins of meat & corn!!!!
