Nice to see some sunshine for a change, 26 turned up today so three lanes were used, the bristol boys were down in numbers and matty tommes drew the flyer and the days bonus peg blue 1, but with chris davies and franky don occupying the end pegs on the reds and whites i was sure matt wouldnt have it in the bag !!!! Early on it was slow going for most but word was that matty was hauling, midway with a lot of the field struggling for fish off the deck, switching to shallow tactics proved to be how the fish were wanting it, derek hammond was catching well on the wag as were some of the others fishing the reds, nicky collier was catching well on blue 17 fishing 16 metres shallow but the fish were of a smaller stamp to the norm, poor old coops wasnt a happy chappie having drawn blue 11 three weeks out
of 5 with only 4 skimmers in the net after 4 hours, well did the `shrimp head` matty scoop the £100 bonus ?????

    The results

1st matty shrimp head tommes 221.8lb blue peg 1

    2nd chris `mr consistent` davies 183.8lb red peg 1 o

    3rd clint wocjala 147.6lb red peg 5

    4th derek hammond 130.10lb red peg 3

whites mark gregory 109.4lb peg 1

    blues/reds carl mulford 118.2lb red peg 13

well clearly the fish are still shoaled up towards the end pegs which are dominating the results of late, hopefully as the weather warms the fish will spread themselves about

well done matty couldnt of gone to a nicer bloke, another half hour tho and i think chris might of done you, a good days fishing with lots of 90`s and 80`s for the back up weights
thanks to all good banter from a good bunch of blokes
    see you all next week
