Runner up on the day was Steve Jeffery from peg 23, after a slow start on the pole he changed to a small method feeder which turned his match around. Fishing double dead maggot with micro pellet on the feeder he caught plenty of small carp for a total weight of 50lb 14oz, this won him £70 in cash and prizes.
