For the first time our club had an aggregate match split over 2 different lakes and with most looking for a draw on Crator, 10 anglers were going to be disappointed. The draw was made and Ghostie32 drew the much fancied peg 1 on Crator and got off to a good start catching small carp and skimmers from the island on paste and pellet but he couldn't keep the swim going for the full 5 hours and finished 3rd on the lake for 20 valuable C section points

Big 'Slap the method around' Bob was at it again and had 6 fish hooked in the first 6 chucks but only landed the one small newly stocked carp, his day was to improve as soon as he put a hook on and landed around 20 fish for his 19lb total.

Next to him on 10 was Covbaz who took the lake win with 28lb of Krill paste and JPZ mugged fish, a much better result than the previous few matches for him. Reports after that Coxs62 showed him the way were denied by CovBaz but the captains words of "Monkey see, monkey do" we're definitely heard after at the team de brief.

Over on Paddock Gaverlarrr was rolling in feramones *puke* (his words) and got off to a great start landing a couple of 8lbers on paste from under the tree but his match fell apart at the half way mark after he trashed a rig and never found the fish again until the death, his 38lb was still good enough for 2nd place overall.

The Worm man commeth was heard again as Bamyam drew favoured peg 25 on Paddock and caught from the
off until the end switching between the island and his right margin all on the chopped snakes along with his 6 pints of castor and 3pints hemp feed to massacre the field just the way he did his kilo of worms before the all in.

The 'Champ' was definitely the 'Chump' today as he sat on peg 10 watching Ken catch fish after fish on the other side of the island while his Mick Wilkinson float sat motionless. All Covblaze had to show for his efforts after 4 1/2 hours was 10lb of stockies and a few skimmers until the side of a 7lb mirror's stomatch took a liking to his paste and the size 14 tubertini 861 was set and after a spirited fight the double champion had got out of jail big time, if you can't be good, be lucky!!! Must do better though

Gaffney brothers venue battle Alan 4-2 Porky (Alans run of flyers can't continue)
