Well done to everyone that fished, Looks like it didn't fish to bad and you all had a few bites.
More than can be said about the match pools, they fished hard today with bite being hard to come by for most today.
            80+ fished
Frank cook won from peg 62 on pool 3
There were a couple of 50l+bs then 40+lbs
            I drew a end/corner peg had 7 bites and 6 fish for 24lb 6oz

Moorzy won his section with 24+lb and Danny won his with 26+lb Well done boy's

I'll be fishing the open again next week, it's on Suez/Brewsters and Edwards some I will be looking for your help.Just incase I draw Edwards.

Good to meet the Poplars gang, good banter & a close match. Thanks for the company on the next peg, Wanger, we'll have to weigh in on beam scales next time

A good close match with the banter somewhat more prolific than the fishing.

I'd like to thank mat6900's dad for standing in for Harry911 a no show His box was blown into the lake & he lost a load of stuff including his glasses but fished on regardless.

The fish came in fits & starts & most of us could not not keep the fish coming to the net consistenly.
Be nice if Quidmore spend a few quid & stone around the banks & put proper pegs in. My gear & myself sank into mud 2 feet deep but hey what do expect for a £7 peg fee

I beleive none of our squad had ever fished & most not even seen this pool b4 the match, so thanks to Moorzy. Danny & Madforit for their advice which obvously helped.
