any one heard fish stocks on trent have been wiped out by pollution does any one know any thing about it.

The pollution explains my poor show a couple of weeks ago... in a trent match I had 6 fish for 10oz, yet 75yds downstream the winner had a good mixed bag for 18lb+... pollution obviously hadn't reached his peg...... can't think of why else he did so much better than me
