  • Record fish weights

Just out of interest what are the world record catch weight of each species of fish so far ??

And also the british catch records of each species...

And maybe also your own personal catch records of each species !!

Bream, perch, carp, roach, pike, tench, rud, gudeon e.c.t

Hopefully i will be able to beat 1 of them 1 day !!

    Mine so far are:
    15lb carp
    2lb roach
    3lb bream
    4lb tench
    few ounce perch
    few ounce gudgeon
    no pike
    no rud

bearing in mind iv only been fishing for 2 years or so ...

I think the record for carp is 91 lb
The charm of fishing is that it is the pursuit of what is elusive but obtainable, a perpetual series of occasions for hope.

High Flyer Lake holds a record fish capture !!!!

It is the three spined stickleback and was caught by D Flack in 1998
It weighed 4dr....what a whopper lol

All the sticklebacks are gone now at High Flyer and have been replaced by HUGE gonks which were never stocked.

It died after it had been caught, recorded as a record and returned!

well if you say it doesnt count if the fish has died then the british record barbel shouldnt count because that is also dead.

In my opinion if the fish has been caught and recorded a weight, dead or alive it is the record
