    When fishing shallow, or tapping.
I can catch for a certain length of time and then lose the fish.
    Mostly F1s.
Am i missing a trick when i lose them. Or how do i go about getting em back.
    Cheers boys.
PS. Come on Nathan sort me out mate. It's doing me head in.

Fish don't, unfortunately, normally feed all day! Just stick at it, try cutting back on the feed, increasing it, going deeper, further out. I've often started at 14.5M on Railway lake at Barford and ended up following them out to 19M, often towards cover on the island. Also try a longer line if its clear and you think the pole is spooking them and when fishing really shallow for F1s I tend to slap more than tap, tapping is more for when you're fishing deeper.

When this happens its usually the fish following bait down in the swim!
Best to start feeding alot less, but more often!
