sticking sections problem

I have a problem breaking down my pole when I have a decent fish on, I can't get the sections apart for some reason, I have a Shimano Technium xta and a few other's I have spoken to about this who have the same pole have the same problem, I can't see the reason for it because I keep the pole straight when trying to break down, any help appreciated.

It is more than likely that the pole is flexing and causing it to bind on the joints, ensure your sections are supported on a roller, and support the sections in front across your legs to relieve some of the pressure, failing that try the old trick of rubbing the joints with a candle.
