Reel lines

I need to put new line on my reels and just wondered what other people use. The reels i use are:-

Adu 501/506 for stick float fishing

and

shimano exage for waggler and pellet waggler

its easy on the abu's maxima 2lb on the open face reel 3/4/5lb maxima, cheers, John

Maxima is not brilliant for top and bottom floats, try Bayer.
For the waggler reel, Maxima is fine, but I have been using Ultima Power Plus for a couple of years and am very impressed with it. It will not sink as easily as Maxima, but with a drop of washing up liquid it is fine. Sometimes Maxima sinks too deep and can pull the float off line, hence the change.

Ive just switched to fenderline. Best line I have ever used, no line memory at all and very low in diameter.
