    On tidal waters, having plumbed the depth before a match at what intervals would you re-plumb the depth or would you just take a guess based on observation of water levels on your peg

    Get an old bankstick, paint or mark it along its length in 1inch intervals with an alternate colour evrey 6 inches. When you plum up, stick the bank stick in the water so a alternate couloured mark is at the level of the water, mark the position of your float on your top kit and alter the depth from there in accourdance with the change in water level. I would personally re-plumb every hour to make sure everything is sock-on
