  • finding fish

    hello everyone

this may seem a simple question but curious for the different opinions on this.

which technique is best for finding out at which depth the fish are feeding at?

    cheers

I always look for indications on the float. If you are getting signs of movement on the float but no proper bites then you may be to deep. Shallow up a foot at a time until you start catching. If you arent getting any signs then you are not deep enough. If its deep water you are fishing the fish some times stay in a warm layer of water and will not budge. On pressured waters I find that fish will go deeper or back off away from loose feed so you have always got to keep on the move in search of where they have gone.
