I'm off shopping tomorrow (boo hoo) no fishing damm!

Sunday, all day drinking session round Doncaster.

            Monday, Highfields lake Adwick.

Bit of a having a newborn baby... its definately hurting the fishing big time!

I fished a Div1 national on the Stainy about 6-7 years ago( the year Barnsley battered everyone) and in our infinate wisdom the team decided to stay the night before in Donny,Mistake number 1

mistake number 2...someone asked the question.."anyone fancy popping out for a beer"

Mistake number 3...Someone else asked "is that place there (park lane ) a night club"..

I can remember leaving my breakfast on the hotel car park and fishing in about 80 degrees all day without a drink.

I'm off on a match at Attenborough Gravels, so i'm hoping for a bit of rain, and a good strong wind.

So i'm gonna have a few hours on the Civil Service Silver Pool tomorrow , slap up a few bits of paper and paint over the next few days, then gey down to Manor Farm for a well earned practice on Windmill

Fat Maggot. Let us know how you got on! I'm fishing the British Legion stretch of the Severn in a fortnight at Bridgnorth and have been advised to go for the big barbel. A first for me!!
