  • Double elastic

Hi im thinking of trying some double elastic out, was wondering what size to use for f1s as im going up tunnel barn next week. Also my top kits are just over six foot long, is this long enough as I usually use hydro through them.
Also what other sizes for bigger carp please.
Any help will be great please

tried a double no.6 a little while ago but just couldn't get on with it at all, now changed to hollow no.11 which is vastly better, so much so i'll be changing all my power kits to hollow over the next few weeks.

Guys, I've had F1s over 3lb on double 5 slip - bit scary and would definitely advise doubled 6 for that stamp. Gotta be Preston's original slip with the coating other wise it doesn't retract properly. Give it a try.

I swear by the stuff now and will be trying double 2 & 3 in a forthcoming silverfish league this winter.

Double 5 & 6 for silvers plus small carp or F1's.

Double 8 for most commercial carping.

                        Doubled 10 for lumps/margins.
