  • Fisheries in Northern Ireland

I was at my local water yesterday when a father and son came over and started asking me how much it was to join the club water after telling them it was £22 for the year they said that they are going to jion apparently the dad is from around here but his son lives in northern Ireland and said he is a keen angler but their is only about 2 fisheries in Northern ireland and they are only small .the son comes over to visit his dad a lot so he wants to fish while he is here. I just thought it was strange that there arent more fisheries in N.I Does anyone else find this strange.

I find it strange that theres a fishery at all in Northern Ireland, what with all the natural places to go and the great fishing on offer for free
