    Im looking for a light spinning rod. Would 5g -20g casting weight be.classed as light??

    Yes mate, that's very light. Great fun too - I have a light rod I used to use on the canal. Amazingly strong tho, I have pulled out christmas trees and all sorts with mine, lol.

      I bought myself a Drennan Series 7 Spincast. It's a beauty! It's been used for spinning, lure fishing, float and ledgering. Bargain at £32

          I got myself the daiwa d-fish spinning set, cheap and cheerfull and it's a fantastic little rod for the money

            ta guys.just ordered a shakespeare 2-15g rod. great price and its carbon. cant wait for it to come and head out!
            some tasty looking ultralight lures ill have to buy!!!
