Grayling fishing on the Itchen/Test.

Going down to Poole for a day with work. Does anyone know if there is any free or day ticket waters where I can pay on the bank and have a chance of trotting for Grayling?

There are parts of winchester town centre on the itchen that are free to fish. Lovely trotting river. Roaming approach needed. Plenty of grayling but fairly small on average. Timsbury on the test and carriers used to allow any method day tickets but not sure that is allowed anymore during summer.
