Hi Bill, how u doin,

Had a bit of a shock, got quoted £95 for a new section!

Gonna try and blag the insurance, see if I can get them to cough up.

Still will get the broken section repaied though, only trouble with it is that after being sleeved and rapped, it will not pack away into other sections .

Just have to be more careful in the future.

pole repairs

If you are thinking of getting it repaired give these a try.

Scott at Esselle is first class.

Hi Redfin,

Ok mate hanging in there, I was quoted £75 for a top three kit, but having trouble getting them, was told to try the Sensas top three kit fits a treat apparently for £55, will have to try it out.
Regards Billy Boy :)

If I had the disposable income you have, I would get a new pole, but it would be another Maver

Hiya, you might just get lucky with the repair, I had a small split on my number 6 for the Medusa "J" repaired with a wrap (while I waited for the new section to arrive) and it still scopes in to the number 7 and I think even if you have to have an internal sleeve fitted it may still go over the number 5. Might be worth asking the question for a "proper" repair

How much did they sting you for a No 6?

Redfin, as Keith as suggested get the section repaired by Scott at Esselle. It'll be good as new & still scope away
