Any eyed hook will do, Fox Match series 2, Kamazan B911, Preston PR27, to name but 3, unless you want a hook with a turned up eye, then Preston and i think Maver do them but not having used that type, I don't know the model numbers.I got a new rod for the wife. I'll miss her, but it's a quality rod.

I used to think the PR36 was the hound's hangers of hair rig hooks, but last Wednesday on a club match I had 4 bend out on me with carp no bigger than 8lb. It's never happened before so perhaps I just got a bad batch - all the hooks in that packet have been consigned to the bin.
911's are good but they are not the strongest for larger fish (but, then, they're not designed to be!!).
I'll keep with the PR36s but if any more bend out on me I'll scream and scream until I make myself sick!!!
