  • difference in rods

    hello all,
    just a question
what is the difference between a Pellet waggler rod and a waggler or match rod.no, its not a joke i am interested as i have only ever used a match float rod but heard and seen these being mentioned.

Generally a match rod will be 13-14 ft long to aid line/rig control etc on a river and will have a tip - middle action,
pellet wag rod's are generally 11 -12 ft and thro action with higher line rating, most are 6 -8lb.these can take some right stick. They come as 2 piece rod's mainly which can be easily kept ready made in a bag.
