i am after a new landing net and handle, i have at the mo a daiwa rubber net and 3m extendable handle think its drennan super specialist,
mainly for carp
after something new for next year
the net is fooked after only a seasons use but was imperssed with it, the handle is quite heavy but again it was and still is solid just after summit a bit more robust and a bit lighter,
the airty handle gets high marks but aint it expensive
Try a standard Daiwa net, not rubber, however most nets will be knackered after a year's hard use! The Airity handles are way overpriced in my opinion and I've heard bad reports about them breaking and all Daiwa handles have a history of the screw thread coming off. Lookk at the Drennan Extra Strong Carp 3.5M, Will Raison used to use 1, whilst sponsored by Daiwa and much cheaper than the Airity! I cut mine down to just over 3M as I found it too long and heavy at 3.5M Also have a Middy Erection 2.7M one that I use a lot too for when I don't need the extra length and has been pretty good.
middy don't sell the erextion any more but the rock ard is stiff and good value for money. see here, plus other handles to choose from on the right of the page middytackle.com -
