          Hi Lewis

Another couple of very nice elastics sim to hydro but a bit cheaper are the blue Preston Hollo 9 or the Green coloured Drennan Bungee

Great for mixed commercial work, i have used both loads in the past the drennan being slightly softer!!
However these days i use Milo Krepton pure latex for all my fishing.

If you are looking at the hollow route, try the J-Range Lastix. It is very similar to Hydro, but the diameters are much more consistent.
You will need the yellow for slightly bigger fish, ie when you know you are mainly going to catch carp, and the pink for when it will be mainly skimmers with the chance of carp.
I've used the Drennan in the past and found it very good. The green is great for skimmers and odd winter carp.
If you were going to stay with solids, I would suggest the Middy Hi-Viz in 6-8 or 8-10. The orange 6-8 would be for the skimmers days and the yellow 8-10 for mainly carp days.
