Can anybody tell me if the top kits from the Shimano Exage AX are compatible with any other pole on the market.
My pole showing signs of needint T.L.C and poss a bit past its sell by date now with the amount of use it got, but I have 15 top kits seems a shame not to be able to reuse them,
    Many Thanks Tony

For not a lot of money you could have all your worn sections Re Wrapped
      Or even the whole pole
it will be like a new pole again
Great if you like your old pole
I had a futron done 2 yrs ago cost about 100 -120 quid its like brand new

Thats interesting Col, I never knew that.

How do they do it then mate as surely any overwrapping would add to the diameter of the male part of the joint which surely as a consequence would no longer fit into the female?

I had it done through a freind of a freind but i believe most pole repairers can do it
Give ESSELL a ring they should be able to advise
I will also try to get the details of who did mine
