at a guess i would say 4ssg.

You can buy oversized shot now fil, or you could get some soldering wire and wrap this around the base of the float to act as a ballast, leaving just enough for a couple of aaa's and some droppers, or use an attachment to lock your float and use the wire to cock the float almost fully.

Yes, 4 SSG and that is what is best to lock it with on doubled up line. You don't want any droppers!
