    Top Kit Length?

    At present I have Maver 121 pole, and seem to struggle landing fish! Would it make any difference if I cut the top kits shorter? I have to have the top kits up high even on stronger elastics to land fish. All the top kits are original, and are just over 2.80 m.

    Any advise will be appreciated.
    Putting my fishing tackle in the car is my first step towards failure!

      Are you using Un cut Power kits ??
      Most of us cut them back to the same length as our Match kits with the No1 removed !!

        Ah, that may help to solve my problem. That must also help to help elastic to extend and retract out of pole end too - being a wider bore.
