I've got the 501 my 1st 16m pole well balanced -
Hi Connor.
I have a 401, not used it that much, but a good pole for the money, foul hooked a 4lb carp on it on white hydro, pole took on an alarming bend, i thought that would be a smashed section, but it held up, that inspired confidence in the pole.
You can tell the difference with the match kit and the power kit on the pole, all in all a good pole, my choice was between the xr3 and the map 401, i went map.
