If its the first pool you have got mate it depends where you are drawn. If its a feeder peg and you can throw to the reeds double red maggot did the trick. I was pegged on the car pak side and had fish in the margins on pellet. Gear up tho there is some big fish in there.
hi Jason, its a crackin pool mate, i've fished it loads of times, last time i caught on banded pellet 6mm, over trevs own feed pellets.
dont want to confuse you, but i've also caught on corn,meat, and done well on paste in the past. last twice i fished, matches won off roadside bank, second peg as you come on, and the peg
outside the new cafe building, both on paste down first ledge. corn or maggots in margins, the lumps will move in.
i pleasured fished the high pool today gotta to say them fish are bonkers most be on drugs
wow never had fish fight so hard,best of day was a 12lb ghostie cracking fish
i was catching all day. in a deep margin swim i was catching good roach but soon fed them off
then f1s moved in,on the other side in 2ft of water was the lumps gosh it was fun and lots of them they come really close to the bank. bait was trevs pellets (used 3 bags feeding only)hookbait was corn and meat switching all the time
i was even catching up in the water its a super fishery
