  • Larford Lakes (Match Lake)

    Hi there,

I am looking for information on the Match Lake at Larford.

A friend and myself are up on the Severn in the middle of Aug and fancy fishing one of Larfords open matches whilst in the area.

I think we are trying to book into a Friday afternoon match fishing 3pm - 8pm.

As previously stated it will be on the Match Lake.

    What methods work?
    What rigs will we need?
    What elastics?
    What baits?
What depthis it, to make up rigs?

Any help would be great........ PLEASE!!

    Pole , waggler, feeder.
    Shallow.
    Not to heavy.
    Pellet or paste.
don't need to go full depth as its full of f1s and once in your peg your float wont touch the wate its all shallow, shallow and more shallowr. However burr bank is deeper than grass bank so it all depends on what side your fishing.

No problem Simon, you should have a good day there.
If you don't sell the Shakespeare mach 1 feeder and you are coming up let me know as my son might be interested and i could collect it off you at Larford if he was.
