    Top Pool

    Hi there....

This pool looks more like two, there is a small bridge over to a thin island on which are a handfull of pegs all facing in towards the pegs on the main bank on the larger part of the "split pool ". The smaller portion of the pool sits behind this island. It is an all pole venue and the pegs get quite deep quite quickly (up to 8 foot deep). Most angler tend to fish at between 8 and 12metres. It can feel quite a claustophobic pool to fish on...all pointing poles at one another!
The permision to use groundbait and/or paste is dependant on the water condition (owner, Paul will advise). Corn/pellet are the mainstay for bigger species, caster/worm or maggot, can result in some big silverfish nets.
