A lot depends on what pegs you are on, Jon who owns it will put you right. Main tactics are paste/ banded pellet fished short like 5/6 metres plus down the edge. Pellet up in the water also works well and also fished through the top 4ft of water. Punched meat/ corn and soft pelllet also work.

Line wise I would use 0.21, very strong hooks, fish run to 20lb plus, average size between 5 and 15lb

Depth wise you have about 9ft in parts in the big lake and about 4ft in the little lake. If your pegged in the little lake, make sure you plumb accurately as there are alot of shallow bars which hold the fish

You could need a lot of bait, see how you go, upto 8 bags possibly though it depends if you are on them or are trying to encourage them to feed

It's a brilliant fishery, and Pauline and Jon will make you feel very welcome along as everyone abides by the rules

    p.s

fish over 9lb have to be weighed immediately and returned
