    We fished pole and feeder Dave. The choice is yours.
    If fishing to the island and not using a pole than i would go with a clipped up feeder, unless you are spot on with your float casting you could end up catching the trees a few times.
    Fish the float mid water and you will be ok. But like i said Frank will put you right.

    We fished Bluebell pool and carp up to 16lb came out on small meat.
    Fab fishery with a great owner (Frank, very nice man). Give him a call, I'm sure he will put you right.
    Can't comment on other two pools as I've only fished the one.
    If on Bluebell fish to the island and if you can get on the last peg of the back of the pool, you can pole fish but be prepared for a scrap.
    I would go with 8lb line because there are some big fish in there.

    could any please give me some advice on astwwod fishery iinn bromsgrove!
    i would like to fish for carp! what method woks the best,a method feeder or on the float?
    also what pool?
    and the best bait?
    do i need to step up my gear?
    i use a carptek 11ft pellet waggler on 5lb line!!! or do i need to go heavier for bigger carp?:
