  • Rivers in Glos or Worcs

Right after a bit of rain I am thinking I want to go after some Barbel and Chub, I was thinking either the Wye, down by Ross, the Avon near Evesham or the Severn near Worcs or Bewdley, then someone mentioned the Teme, argh.

Anyone got an idea which is best to and is the most prolific....and crucially is available on a day ticket.

I have asked about the Severn in Tewks but I guess that would be hard work to catch?

The Teme at Knightwick is controlled by Worcester and District UAA - day tickets for their river stretches are available from Allans Tackle in St. Johns, Worcester - Alans Fishing Tackle

Only fished it a couple of times for chub up to 4lb 12, but I know some decent barbel come out of their too.
