Anyone fished this recently? I've got a match on there coming up... I believe we're on the lake with the single big island on it (Wick 1?). Just wondered if anyone has any idea how it's fishing at the moment...

If its warm they will be up in the water. Fish the pellet waggler or the baggin waggler. The carp range around 3 - 4lb with some bigger ones. If you can't fish the above methods then fish pellet/paste over pellet at about 7 - 10 metres. As the day goes on come on into the inside. Method feeder will work cast to the island. There are some bream in there but the carp will win it. 60/70lb + should win. Maggots will get plagued with small stuff. Keep the feed going in. Fish to any feature like the bushes that overhang the water but beware of the fish getting snagged under them.

Thanks for the info Fred... pretty much how I played it last year, so that's put my mind at rest, thank you!
Found out the other day that it's a float only match. Last year I got beaten off the next peg by a guy on the Method. I'd made the fantastic choice to leave my feeder rod at home *rolls eyes*.
