    any info on the tench lake at risby as iam fishing a match there this weekend

    if you havent been there before the best bit of advice i could give is make sure you put your fish in your own keepnet and not your neighbours. yes the pegging is tight but having said that it is a genuine any method venue. chopped worm and caster works on the bottom and up in the air and you dont need to fish to far out try feeding a swim by hand and you will need plenty of bait. there is the odd big carp but as its name suggests expect tench but choppie and caster will catch you everything in there. ide skimmers etc 30 to50lb is usually required to win but can fish mad and ton is poss. tight lines

          from rotherham mate main method at hayfield right now seems to be a inline feeder thrown tight to the island with meat or mag dont ignore the margins as you can pick up some right beasts there up to about 15 pounds
