Fished there last saturday. I was on peg 21.
I caught all my fish up in the water on double caster and meat while feeding mainly caster.
I started at 5 meters but they backed away fast and was chasing them all over the place.
I started about 1.5 foot deep and at the end I was about 8 inches deep.
I never had a touch from the margins or of the deck.
It was very slow going though.
4x10 float and tubertini 175 number 2 hook, simple and easy
I know it aint the best hook for caster but i was planning on using it for meat, but 2 casters sit on it nice

My catch was mainly ghosties btw.

      I caught on meat shallow.
If floating baits are allowed you will catch on bread floated against the reeds.

I fished the same match, caught most fish shallow on meat/maggot, wish I had taken more caster, sure it would have worked better. Fish were mostly pound F1's, peg 1, right over to reeds.

Favoured tactic from the other match seemed to be floating bread on floating pole right in amongst the far bank reeds.

I only ever make 2 rules for my matches (other than any fishery rules) and they are :

NO Floating Baits To Be Fed.
            No Floating Pole.

Thats lucky Malc, I didn't have any bread with me and my pole sinks whenever I try to float it !!!

My club has banned floating baits also so they are the rules I am used to anyhow.

They didnt want 3/4meters on the deck last Saturday (again the same match) im stubborn and fish what i find comfortable i had 1 perch and 1 roach. I could only get a bite on caster.

Let us know how you get on
